The Harleston and Waveney Trail is delighted to announce that we will be holding a special fundraising Auction of Art & Promises on Friday 30th April 2010 at The Swan Hotel in Harleston. The auction will be a lively and exciting event, with a fabulous selection of items to bid on, from paintings and ceramics, sculptures and textiles to some more surprising and unusual promises from artists.

A good selection of donated art books will also be available to buy, along with small craft objects, and there will also be a prize raffle.

There will be some highly collectible artworks up for bidding too. David Page, a lecturer at Hornsey Art School in the 1960’s, is donating seven Hornsey Protest posters, printed from the original lino blocks.
