All the Way to the Sea, Peter Pears Gallery, Aldeburgh

All the Way to the Sea, a new exhibition featuring work by members of the Harleston and Waveney Art Trail collective (HWAT), opened last Thursday at the Peter Pears Gallery in Aldeburgh, Suffolk. HWAT is delighted to share a few photographs of the exhibition shortly after it was installed in the gallery, which we hope will provide a small taster and tempt you to visit the exhibition before it closes (where possible artists have been credited underneath each photograph).

All the Way to the Sea is open daily from Thursday 26th September to Wednesday 2nd October 2013.


Paintings by Jane German, Chris Mound (woodcut print), Dee Nickerson (pastels on paper), Jazz Green, Andrew Pottruff and David Rock (ink & watercolour).


Small works by Sara Johnson (watercolours), David Page, Val Lindsell, Denise Goddard (pen & ink drawings), Chris Mound (woodcut prints), Rose Martin (silk painting) and Jayne Wurr (mosaics).


Paintings by Sue Laughlin, Gill Levin, David Page and Alan Frewin.

Thirty two HWAT artists are represented in over 200 works in All the Way to the Sea. All works are for sale. Buyers can, after payment in full and by agreement, take any purchased works away before the close of the exhibition.

HWAT exhibition at Peter Pears Gallery, Aldeburgh

We are delighted to announce a new art exhibition, featuring work by members of the Harleston and Waveney Art Trail collective (HWAT). The exhibition is entitled All the Way to the Sea, and it will be held at the well-known Peter Pears Gallery in the seaside town of Aldeburgh in Suffolk.

Many of HWAT’s most respected artists will be exhibiting work in the show, including Gill Levin, Jane German, David Page and Jane Callender.

All the Way to the Sea opens at 10am on Thursday 26th September 2013. On Sunday 29th September 2013 we will be holding a special preview event, and we cordially invite you to meet many of the artists for wine & nibbles from midday on Sunday.

The Peter Pears Gallery is situated in the middle of the bustling High Street in Aldeburgh, just a pebble’s throw from the shingle beach.
