Waveney Reflections, HWAT’s new book project (to be published in October 2015), is being widely promoted by a new exhibition of paintings, prints, drawings, textiles and batik art in the Visitor Centre café at the River Waveney Trust Centre.
The Waveney Reflections exhibition at the visitor centre is open to the public on weekends only: Friday 28th to Monday 31st August (August Bank Holiday weekend) and Friday 4th to Sunday 6th September 2015, from 10am to 4pm. The Waveney Reflections art exhibition coincides with The Waveney & Blyth Arts River Waveney Sculpture Trail, with forty sculptures and art installations on the trail.
Entry to the Visitors Centre at the River Waveney Trust is £4, under 18s free, £3 for members of Waveney & Blyth Arts and The River Waveney Trust. The tearoom in the visitor centre will be open for drinks and light lunches throughout the art exhibition and the sculpture trail.
The River Waveney Trust Centre is situated at Old Harleston Road, Earsham, Nr Bungay, Suffolk, NR35 2AF.
The forthcoming HWAT book, Waveney Reflections, will include over 50 full-colour images with each artist’s thoughts on their work and their relationship with the river.
Twenty-five artists from the Harleston & Waveney Art Trail Collective are included in the book (to be published October 2015), celebrating the River Waveney between Brockdish and Bungay, the stretch of the river that links their art studios.
