Robin Harries – Open in 2024 – Studio 15
1969 – BA in Graphic Design, Hornsey College of Art
1970 – Worked at Great Georges Community Arts Project in Liverpool and developed inflatable play structures. This evolved into London based ‘Harry’s Big Balloonz’ and which, in turn led to ‘Air Artists Ltd.’ making inflatable stage props and scenery for pop concerts, TV and Theatre shows, advertising and promotions.
2010 – To the present – Joined life sculpture class at Wensum Lodge in Norwich and became immersed in figurative sculpture in clay. I helped Mark Goldsworthy to set up another life sculpture session at his studio near Bungay. Inspiration Friday ran for three years and was an extremely productive time, developing slab built, new work from a model to show at the variety of sculpture trails and exhibitions there are in East Anglia. I have exhibited at the Waveney and Blyth Arts and Raveningham Sculpture Trails for the last few years.
Throughout all this the one constant has been my interest in life drawing, currently satisfied by Holton Life Art.
My studio is a dedicated space in my house in Bungay.

If coming from Wharton Street/library car park, cross over the road, through the alleyway, turn left onto Upper Olland Street. Coming from the town centre, take the right fork at the car accessories shop. My studio is 200 metres further down on the left hand side.
