Waveney Revisited: new exhibition at The Corn Hall, Diss

Waveney Revisited, a new exhibition organised by members of HWAT, has recently opened at the newly refurbished Corn Hall in Diss, featuring the work of twenty four artists in the annual art trail. The collective theme is encounters, moments and responses to the Waveney Valley. A smaller ‘taster’ exhibition will also be hosted at The Farmer’s Kitchen near Alburgh, with one work from each artist on display. Both exhibitions will showcase the exciting range of art created by the artists in HWAT – from vibrant abstracts and evocative landscapes, to textiles, printmaking and sculpture.

Chairman of HWAT, Malcolm Cudmore, said: “Both exhibitions will showcase recent works from members and give visitors the chance to see the quality and breadth of work that will form Harleston & Waveney Art Trail in 2018“.

The exhibition Waveney Revisited at The Corn Hall is free entry, open 10am-4pm Monday to Saturday, from 2nd May to 2nd June 2018. Visit Diss Cornhall website for more details.

HWAT’s recent book, Waveney Reflections, will also be on sale at both exhibitions.
