Diana McKenna
I have always been inspired by the natural world and I have always loved drawing from direct observation. I find travelling very inspirational for my work, and over the years I have visited some exciting and interesting places, such as the Amazon jungle in Peru, the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and the Atacama desert in Chile. I work in a variety of materials including acrylics, watercolours and oils. I also enjoy printmaking and develop my ideas from observational sketches towards abstraction.
