HWAT: Open Studios 2021

IMPORTANT NEWS UPDATE

“We are really pleased to announce that HWAT is back in 2021. In fact, we are back twice!”

  • HWAT Summer Art Trail

Eleven members’ studios will be open over the weekends of 19th/20th and 26th/27th June. Those eleven members (with others) will also be exhibiting at The Old Harnessmakers Gallery in Harleston throughout the whole of June. The participating artists are (in no particular order): Ingrid Duffy, Sara Johnson, Bobbie Watchorn, Nell Close, Kath Wallace, Carolyn Moulton, Rachel Wiles, Liz Taunt, Paul Zawadzki, Barbara Bernard and Lisa Henshall.

  • HWAT Autumn Art Trail

We will hold a full open studios art trail over the weekends of 4th/5th, 11th/12th and 18th/19th September. This will feature the majority of members and further details will be available in due course.

“It goes without saying that we are delighted to be back in action again. After over a year of not being able to do the very thing we were set up to do, we cant wait to be able to welcome you back to our studios. We recognise that, despite being able to open up again, we are not entirely free of Covid 19. All members are committed to safe practices and we will all adhere to a set of Covid-safe guidelines which may have an effect on your visit to the studios.

Please note. This website is about to be rebuilt. Full details for both the Summer and Autumn Art Trails (including artist descriptions, locations and directions) will be posted  once the new site is fully active. Meanwhile, please note the above dates in your diary. We most definitely look forward to seeing you on the Trail in June and September.”

Malcolm Cudmore – Chair, HWAT

HWAT is a collective of professional artists living and working within a relatively small area of the central Waveney Valley.  We are a selected group – maintaining quality and high standards within a variety of disciplines. We open our studios to the public annually, offering works for sale, and generating interest and understanding between the local community, the artists and makers.

We offer particular thanks to all our sponsors and advertisers who had committed to supporting the brochure in 2020. Their details are listed on a separate page added under the Trail Map Page. Please check them out.
