Alan Frewin 1935 – 2016

Harleston & Waveney Art Trail artists are very sorry to report the death of Alan Frewin on 8th June 2016.

alan-frewin=1935-2016

We will miss him and his wonderful pottery and Harleston won’t be quite the same again. He prepared what he said was his ‘absolutely last batch of pots’ just before our Open Studios in May 2016, which were part glazed and stand in his studio waiting for the final firing. He has been enthusiastically painting for the past few years; making pots had taken a back seat. His last painting also remains unfinished on his easel.

We send our condolences to his widow Ann Frewin, their son and the rest of the family.
